MOG Outdoor Festival; gear, films & guided adventures benefiting the Western Colorado Outdoor Community.

Founded in 2004 by Jen Taylor and her crew at Mountain Sprouts, the MOG started as a local appreciation sale and a way to directly benefit local non-profits through the outdoor community. The idea spawned for a modern-day Marmot sale from the days when Marmot was still rooted here in Grand Junction... and the question, "why do people still reminisce about the old Marmot Sales now 20+ years later?"

We had 3 goals when we established the concept for the MOG: 1) to offer great deals to locals, 2) to benefit local, well-deserving non-profits, and 3) create an event that brought manufacturers and their authorized dealers together to build brand awareness and brand loyalty.

Now, for the 3rd annual event, we've propelled the MOG Sale from a 1-day event to the 3-day MOG Outdoor Festival - due largely to Seth Anderson from Loki and his grand vision of a full-blown 'outdoor fest'. We're closing off Main Street's 500 block for the MOG Sale, bringing in Telluride Mountain Film on Tour, climbing competitions, LOKI NITE, guided excursions, and tons more activities - this year's MOG is sure to be the BEST YET... every year building on the momentum established to become a destination weekend for Gearheads, Outdoor Enthusiasts, and Outdoor Manufacturers nationwide!

So come join us for the fun, great deals, and then come use the gear you get at the MOG Sale on Sunday's guided adventures! It'll be a weekend of frolic and frivolity in our outdoor mecca - western Colorado's Grand Valley.
